Project Overview


United Utilities is delivering a full neighbourhood infrastructure rehabilitation along 102 Street in Fort Saskatchewan, replacing aging water, sanitary, and storm systems while reconstructing roads, sidewalks, parking, curbs, and landscaping.

This phased project is designed to modernize critical underground infrastructure, improve roadway safety and accessibility, and minimize disruption through proactive communication, temporary services, and resident-focused planning.

Schedule


    • Project planning, permits, locates, safety plans, and resident notifications

    • Temporary water services, traffic accommodation, and mobilization

    • Road Closure to be implemented on 102nd Street

    • Asphalt, concrete, sidewalk, and boulevard removals

    • Utility daylighting and staging setup

    • Watermain, sanitary, and storm infrastructure replacement

    • Service connections, hydrants, manholes, and catch basins

    • Testing, chlorination, and inspections

    • Roadway rebuild, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, crossings, paving, and line painting

  • Topsoil, sod, trees, mulch, cleanup, and final adjustments

    • Final touches and wrap up

UPdates


  • United Utilities is on schedule to begin setting up temporary water lines this week, with the road closure and removals planned for the week of May 25th.
